The primary objective of the Fund is to provide investors with long-term capital appreciation by investing in the equity securities of companies domiciled in, or exercising the predominant part of their economic activity in India. The Fund aims at investing in a diversified portfolio of securities across major sectors and all market capitalizations.

The fund also focuses on quality asset classes in emerging markets such as Bangladesh, United Arabs Emirates, Tanzania, Kenya, Ghana, Zambia, Uganda and Ethiopia.
